Ian completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Carleton University in Ottawa. He moved to Calgary following the completion of his degree and earned a Master’s of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary.
Ian has a passion for working with children and families. He has experience working with families in a number of settings, including classrooms, homes, and early intervention programs. Ian specializes in assessment, including psycho-educational, social-emotional-behavioural, and autism spectrum disorder assessments. When conducting therapy, Ian uses a client centered approach. He believes in a collaborative approach where clients are active members of the goal setting process. He likes to meet clients where they are at, in order to work together to improve all aspects of daily life.
